MURIDA-FATORDA: Dicarpale SC shot-out Goa Velha SC 6-5 via penalties to advance into the quarter-finals of the Bro. Eulalio Vas memorial football tournament, at DBO ground, Murida-Fatorda on Wednesday.
Goa Velha’s Chatur Naik and Ashok squandered chances to score in the 23rd and 30th minutes respectively.
Later in the 36th minute, Dicarpale’s Rayan Fernandes shot wide with the keeper at his mercy.
In the tie-breaker Dicarpale SC netted through Jason, Stendly, Rayan, Robinson, Micky and Leasser while Chatur, Thappa, Rajat, Joseph and Lenny scored for Goa Velha.
