PANJIM: Dicarpale Sports Club edged past Mandopa SC 2-1 in the Second Division League organised by Goa Football Association, played at Navelim ground, on Friday.
Jaison Martin’s opened the scoring for the winners in the 26th minute while Joel Colaço added another in the 54th minute. Presily Gomes pulled one down for the Mandopa club in the 58th minute.
In another game played at Curtorim ground, Nuvem Sports Club beat St Sebastian Union Club 1-0. Roger Colaço scored the lone goal for the winners in the 32nd minute.
In another match at Ambelim ground, Tilamola United Sports Club and Varca Sports Club played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Aleston Carvalho opened the score line for Tilamola USC in the 10th minute before Melwin Carvalho doubled the lead for Tilamola in the 23rd minute.
Varca SC’s Clive Coelho and Jhonus Costa scored a goal each to make it all square.
Clive scored yet another goal in the 40th minute to give Varca SC the lead. However, in the 43rd minute Tilamola’s Alvino Carvalho made it 3-3.
