Goa’s No. 1 women’s TT player, Alisha Alfonso of Vasco Table Tennis Academy scored  a crushing 11-7, 11-6, 11-5 whitewash over Nyssa Alvares in the finals of Jackito Sequeira memorial all-Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis tournament organised by Don Bosco Oratory on Friday.
In another awesome display of attacking TT, Alisha, a student of PCCE left her opponent wilting in the finals. Hitting forehand top spin drives into the opponent’s body and lethal backhand down the line and cross court drives, Alisha had her opponent clueless in the face of the non-stop barrage of attacking strokes, to romp home an easy winner of her 4th successive women’s title this year.
Other results: Young Vaishali Chandana from Panjim beat Abigail Cunha12-10, 11-8, 11-5 in the mini-cadet girls finals while Arantxa Noronha played a superb controlled game to upset top seed Tanishi Kirtani 11-8, 11-4,12-10 in the cadet girls finals.
Roshni Gopani lived up to her top billing in the sub-junior girls finals beating Kefira Rodrigues11-9, 11-8, 12-10. Devika beat Eleanor 11-8, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5 in the junior girl’s finals.
In the cadet boys, Wesley do Rosario beat Manguesh Sakordekar 11-4, 8-11, 11-8, 11-9 while Tejas Shevde beat Krishal Peres De Silva 11-7, 11-5, 11-9 in  sub-junior boys and Arjun Sood 10-12, 11-2, 11-8, 5-11, 11-9 in junior boys finals.
In a one-sided men’s singles finals, top seed Diljeet Velingkar put it across Agnelo Naik 4-1 to bag the title.
