MAPUSA: Dnyanprassak Vidyalaya Mapusa got the better of Mater Dei Institute Saligao to win the Bardez Taluka U-14 Girls Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Peddem Sports Complex. Stuti Shivani, Tanisha Parsekar and Taneesha Mhapsekar put up a brilliant show for Dnyanprassak Vidyalaya.
In the boys category, GS Vidya Mandir Mapusa defeated St Anthony High School Guirim 3-2.
A fine display by Heramb Tople, Vedant Walke and Rhugved Dangui helped the Amonkar lads to secure the win. The third place was bagged by Seminary of Our Lady HS Saligao who defeated Lourdes Convent 3-1.
