Don Bosco, Caculo in battle for supremacy

PANJIM: Don Bosco College, Panjim will take on Caculo College, Mapusa in the North Goa quarter-final of the ACF Trophy organized by Herald Group in Association with Syngenta India Pvt Ltd.

Both teams are well balanced and will use their attacking potential to overcome each other. Don Bosco College beat strong contenders St Xavier’s, Mapusa in a nerve cracking tie-breaker to reach at this stage. The team from Panjim has depth in all departments. Being last year’s runners-up, the confidence level amongst the lads are really high as they will go all out to further emulate their previous feet and be crowned champions in this edition. Don Bosco attacked excellently in their previous match. The defensive play of the team has also been excellent. 
Caculo College have been the most impressive team in this edition, scoring the highest goals. The team is high on confidence to repeat the game which they produced in the first round. The strength for the Mapusa based college clearly sits in the attacking potential. Caculo College have players at their disposal, who can use their speed and give a tough battle to any defence, a factor which was visible in their first match. One of the areas the college need to work on is the communication between the midfielders and strikers, something which could help them increase their goal tally to a much higher margin.
