The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will organize the 10th annual advance summer coaching camp, for boys and girls of different age groups in various disciplines
from April 19 to May at Parye Sattari, Peddem in Mapusa, Pernem, Chicalim, Vasco, Fatorda, Ponda, Morpirlla Quepem, Collem-Sanguem. 
     The camp will be residential in nature, wherein free lodging and boarding will be provided to the trainees supported by a well planned training schedule on scientific lines with the sole aim of enhancing the level of performance of talented sportspersons and obtaining positive results at 55th National School Games 2009-10.
The State selection trials will be held on April 42 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tribal camps:
Govt High School, Morpila: Kho – kho boys and girls U- 1 7, kabaddi boys and girls U- 1 7,
volleyball boys and girls U-17.
 Sanguem Sports Complex, Sanguem:  football boys U-14, baseball boys and girls U- 14 and U-17, badminton boys and girls U-14 and U-17, taekwondo girls U-14 and U-17.
Our Lady Of Piety High School, Collem: Football boys U-15, hockey boys U-15, volleyball Boys U-15,  basketball Bboys U-15.
Bhumika Hr. Sec. School Parye Sattari: Kho-kho boys and girls U-17.
Sports Complex Peddem, Mapusa: Athletics boys and girls U-13, U-15, U-17;  football boys U-12 and girls U-14; cricket boys U-14; hockey boys U-14 and girls U-17; shooting boys and girls U-17, swimming boys and girls U-14 and U-17;  basketball girls U-17; 8) archery boys and girls U-14 and U-17; hardball girls U-17; table tennis boys and girls U-14, U-17.
St. Joseph High School, Pernem: Kho – kho boys and girls U-15;
 Kabaddi boys and girls U-15; volleyball boys and girls U-15, football boys U-15.
Regina Mundi High School, Chicalim: Cricket boys U-17, football boys U-17, basketball boys U-17, handball boys U-17, Tae!kwondo boys U-14 and U-17.
 Ponda Sports Complex, Ponda: Judo boys and girls U-14 and U-17,  Swimming and diving for boys and girls U-14, U-17; football girls U-17; volleyball girls U-17.
Eligibility:  Bonafide students studying upto std. XI  who attended the pre-National coaching; camps or represented the State at 2008-09 National School
Games.
 Age: Under-17 years born on or after 1-1-1993; Under-15 years born on or after 1-1-1995; Under-14 years born on or after 1-1-1996; Under-12 years born on or after 1-1-1998.
Eligible trainees may report to the concerned in-charge for selection trials on April 4 at 9 a.m.  with playing kit, school I-card.
