PANJIM: The Department of Sports and Affairs will honour the outstanding players of the State who excelled and brought laurels to the State. They will be presented with the highest award of the State in the field of Sports named after Warrior Bakshi Bahaddar Jivabadad Kerkar.
The award consists of a bronze plaque, a certificate and a purse of Rs. 25,000. The awards will be presented by the Chief Minister in the presence of the Sports Minister and Youth Affairs today at the NIO Auditorium, Dona Paula, at 4 p.m.
