In the ensuring penalty shoot-out, Dulape emerged winners in the sudden death by 6-5. Menino, Benny, Desmond, Martiso, Hilton and Agostino scored for the winners while Santan, Cristo, Kevin, Manuel and Vincent scored for the runners-up. A minute silence was observed as mark of respect for the soul of Fr Bruno Diniz.
Chief guest Nuvem Constituency MLA Mickky Pacheco gave away the prizes along with the guest of honour Fr Livio D’Mello, parish priest of Nagoa; special invitee Fr Benjamin Victoria, assistant parish priest; Sarpanch of Nagoa Franky Vales and other ward panch members.
The winners were awarded Rs 10,000 and a trophy while the runners-up took home Rs 8,000 and a trophy.
The following individual prizes were awarded to best player of the tournament Cristo Fernandes (Poriebhat), best goalkeeper Preston Rego (Poriebhat), best defender Manuel Moniz (Poriebhat), best midfielder Desmond Pereira (Dulape), best striker Stephen Abranches (Dulape), fair play trophy was awarded to Holy Rosary Boys of Bamborda.
Earlier, Gabie Fernandes welcomed the guests and also compered.
