MAPUSA: Dunes Sports Club booked their place into the semi-finals of Milagres Cup as they registered a 2-1 win over Adarsh YS Saligao, organised by Milagres Sports Club, Mapusa, at Duler stadium, here, on Wednesday.
Dunes opened their account in the 18th minute as Alberto Britto guided the ball into the goal off a cross by Shashank Ashwekar.
Adarsh went all out in search of an equaliser but the Dunes defence was well marshalled by Amir and Vivek.
Dunes doubled their lead in the 60th minute as Jason Fernandes scored off a pass by Stepelton Fernandes to make it 2-0.
However in the 68th minute, Nester Dias reduced the margin by scoring a goal off a corner-kick by Govind Mahale.
