MAPUSA: Dunes SC drubbed PVC Parra by 4-1 margin in the Candolim Panchayat Cup organised by Candolim SC, at Dr Gustavo Monteiro ground, Candolim, on Tuesday.
Dunes SC’s Kritikesh Gadekar outsmarted PVC Parra’s keeper and placed the ball to the far corner of the goal, 1-0.
PVC Parra’s Myron Pacheco levelled terms just four minutes later and connected a cross from Veron Pereira, 1-1. On crossing over, Dunes SC scored their second goal through Anthony Lobo of a cross from Alister Fernandes, 2-1.
Soon Anthony netted his brace with a brilliant solo effort, 3-1. In the closing stages of the match, Alberto Britto made it 4-1 for Dunes SC with a neat placement. Dunes SC’s Anthony Lobo received the man-of-the-match award.
