It was an attacking game with Friends XI having better scoring opportunities.
A fine cross by Vaddem’s Pundalik Naik to Clive Fernandes saw the latter falter in front of the open goal.
On crossing over, Dunes SC got their act together but Shashank Ashwekar’s strike from close sailed over the crossbar.
Finally, in the 60th minute, Dunes SC scored through Sylvester Dias with a deft placement.
Chief guest Custodio Fernandes, Anthony Mascarenhas, Ivan Fernendes and guest of honour Lavinio Rebello (GFA Vice-President North) presented the prizes to the winners and runners-up.

First goal scorer Sylvester Dias (Dunes SC), Best goalkeeper: Ankit Gadekar (Dunes SC), Best defender: Devendra Kouthankar (Friends XI), Promising player: Lynn D’Souza (FriendsXI), Best forward: Denzil Sequeira (Friends XI) and player of the tournament: Clive Fernendes (Friends XI).
