Dunes win; Mundivel up

Latesh Mandrekar netted a superb long range free kick in the last ten minutes for Dunes Sports Club to give them a 2-1 victory over St Christopher Sports Club in GFA’s U-14 league at Morjim ground on Monday. St Christopher led 1-0 at the lemon break.
St Christopher took the lead in the first half through Shanu Dhadwadkar. After the change of ends Dunes started to pile on more pressure in search of the equaliser and they were rewarded when Lesley punted home. Latesh Mandraker scored the winner moments later. 
At Pilar ground, Jawahar Club defeated Fr Agnel Youth Center, Pilar 3-1. Fr Agnel led 1-0 at the breather. After the interval, Alsbur Dias, Fleming Dias and Sadiq Shaikh got on the scoresheet for Jawahar Club.
In GFA’s Second Division Mundivel Sports Club defeated CAC Cansaulim 2-0.
