MAPUSA: Host Xetrapal SC got the better of St Augustias SC Pomburpha 3-1 to advance in the Xetrapal Soccer Cup 2017, organised by Xetrapal SC, at Oxel grounds, on Saturday.
Bradley Lobo put Xetrpal into the lead early on in the match and then went on to net his brace through a penalty kick. Changing ends Vipul fired in the third goal for Xetrapal when he guided home Vaibhav Mayekar’s cross. Brendon Fernandes managed to reduced the margin for Pomburpha in the 69th minute.
