NAVELIM: Salcete FC defeated CRSC Navelim 6-0 in the GFA U-16 League match, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Monday.
Salcete FC dominated the play in all areas of the match as they pinned their opponents in the own half for the entire match as they scored goals at regular intervals.
Planton Dias opened the account for Salcete in the 5th minute.
Melisho Camatio doubled the lead in the 26th minute.
Leander Fernandes scored a brace in as many minutes netting in the 36th and 37th minute.
Valencio D’Costa made it 5-0 in the 60th minute and Clovan Monteiro made it 6-0 for Salcete in the 72nd minute.
In another match in the evening on the same ground, Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda thrashed Navelim Villagers Union 4-1.
Shelton Araujo netted a hat-trick for Don Bosco scoring in the 23rd, 49th and 53rd minute, while Marvick scored the fourth.
Mark Gomes pulled one back for Navelim Villagers Union in the 19th minute.
