In the first half, both the teams played an attacking football but could not score any goal. In the 30th minute, Austin Fernandes of Betalbatim Sporting Club missed a goal by a whisker.
In the second half, Edgar Noronha scored the lone goal in the 70th minute for Margao Sport Club.
Immediately, Betalbatim Sporting Club tried to equalise in 75th minute but Allwick Fernandes’ shot was well saved by Margao Sport Club goalkeeper Lokesh Lamani.
