PANJIM: Egipsy King entered the quarter-finals of Siridao Soccer Cup 2013, organised by Siridao Boys, overpowering Sunshine Siridao vie the tie-breaker 6-5, at River Plate Siridao Sports Club ground, at Siridao, Sunday.
In a thrilling first half, Sunshine took the lead but Egipsy King immediately equalised.
Post resumption, Egipsy Boys dominated and doubled their lead.
Down 1-2, Sunshine regrouped quickly and started mounting pressure on the rival citadel and later got the much needed equaliser.
The teams were locked 2-2 at full time. In the tie-breaker, Egipsy King proved to be better shooters.
