Elvis, Sammy re-elected Cuncolim Union office-bearers

PANJIM, AUG 10
Elvis Gomes and Sammy Tavares were elected president and vice-president respectively of Cuncolim Union for a record 3rd successive term at the 38th general body meeting at Cuncolim on Sunday.
The members congratulated the committee for the excellent work carried out by them and decided to repose their faith again for a new 2-year term.
Elvis is the Commissionner of the Corporation of the City of Panjim while Sammy is the DSP of Mapusa.
The committee also includes Siano Fernandes, Prakash Dessai, Ramesh Dessai, Dinu Naik, Oscar Gracias, Zephyrus Mascarenhas, Elly Almeida, Rolence Coutinho, Augusto Rebelo and Sripad Dessai.
On the occasion, Justice Ferdino Rebello was felicitated for being elevated as the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court.
