CHINCHINIM: Fatima Baida got the better of Dandeavaddo Boys 3-1 to move into the next round of the Jumbo Chik Chik Memorial inter-ward football tournament, organised by Friends Circle at Our Lady of Hope church ground, Chinchinim, on Sunday.
It didn’t take long for Dandeavaddo to open the account as within two minutes Roger netted the first goal of the match off a placement shot.
Aliston Rebello equalised for Fatima with a curling effort in the 20th minute.
As the match progressed, in the 25th minute, Cleine D’Costa doubled the account for Fatima with a power-packed shot.
Baida further inflated the lead through Alison Rebello and made it 3-1 in the 38th minute.
