MARGAO: Fatima Convent HS Margao, St Anthony’s HS Majorda, Perpetual Convent HS Navelim and OL of Succour HS Nagoa registered victories in their respective matches in Salcete Taluka under-14 girls inter-school football tournament organized by DSYA at Manora-Raia ground, Wednesday.
In the first match of the tournament, Perpetual Convent HS, Navelim blanked Rosary HS Navelim 3-0. Feebyl Andrade, Maybelline Gomes and Baverly Cardozo accounted one goal each for the winners.
St Anthony’s HS Majorda humbled St Anthony’s HS Veroda 3-0 with Rochelle Dias scoring a brace while Gleynis Ferrao netting one.
Fatima Convent HS routed Saviour of World HS Loutolim 5-0. Joella Santimano and Fiena Oliviera scored two goals each while Jecila Santimano was the other scorer for the winners.
OL of Succour Nagoa beat Bethany Convent HS, Sao Jose de Areal 3-2 via the tie-breaker.
