PANJIM: FC Goa Fans Club UK won the 4th edition of the Indian Super Fans’ League UK, organised by Bengal Heritage Foundation, at Arbour Park, Slough, England.
They conceded only one goal throughout the tournament. In the final, they defeated Odisha FC 2-0, and in the semi-final, they beat Mumbai FC 2-0.
During the group stage, they won against Odisha FC (3-0), Mohan Bagan FC (5-0), and NorthEast United (4-1).
The team, captained by Clinton Furtado from Chandor, included Mervyn Vaz from Vasco, Varel from Navelim, Francisco from Siridao, Elloy from Agassaim, Franco from St. Estevam, Seadon from Agasaim, Ashok from Siridao, Samward from Sanguem, Ketan from Shirgao, and Troy from Agassaim.
This victory marks their second consecutive win, having also won in 2023.
