PANJIM: FC Goa will be represented in the Durand Cup by the Developmental Team with three players viz. Liston Colaco, Princeton Rebello and Saviour Gama also being drafted into the squad with experience of playing in the first team. Former Durand Cup winner Clifford Miranda will be the Head Coach of the side.
FC Goa Developmental Team is placed in Group C of the Durand Cup alongside Army Green, Real Kashmir FC and Chennai City FC. The young Gaurs will play all their group stage games at the Kalyani Stadium in Kalyani, West Bengal starting on August 8.
The winner of the group will head on to the semi-final of the 16-team tournament scheduled on August 21. The final is scheduled to take place on August 24 at the Salt Lake Stadium) in Kolkata.
