PANJIM: FC Goa fans will now be able to get their hands on tickets to the much awaited second semi-final game between FC Goa and Atletico de Kolkata at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa on December 17.
The tickets will be on sale on December 13 and 14 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. or until availability of tickets, whichever comes earlier. Tickets will be available at Fatorda Stadium and the Swimming Pool Complex, Campal and on online ticketing partner Bookmyshow (www.bookmyshow.com).
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by District Collector Venancio Furtado. Mr Furtado informed that one person will be entitled for only three tickets at the counter, while two tickets will be issued per person online.
The prices of the tickets have been revised, with the ticket being priced at Rs 200 for North and South stands (behind the goalposts). The East stand tickets are priced at Rs 400 while the West Stand tickets will be sold at Rs 480. The price for corporate box tickets are priced at Rs 3000, except for North stand boxes where the price remains at Rs 2500.
Parking facilities have been increased. Besides the SAG ground outside Nehru Stadium, the SGPDA parking ground and SGPDA pick up stand will also be available for vehicular parking during the match.
Additionally, free access passes will also be issued to local residents staying in and around the Nehru Stadium to ensure their free movement on the roads leading to the stadium.
The district collector also announced that authorities have decided to divert the heavy traffic plying around stadium on the day of the match between 5pm to 7pm to avoid congestion.
Only Gate 1 will allow access to vehicles, while the VVIPs ticket holders (not in vehicles) will have to enter from gate no 2.
