PANJIM: FC Goa, in collaboration with Kingfisher, will launch the second edition of Road To Goa; five-a-side football tournament, following the success of the inaugural edition, from February 3.
The tournament encompasses three distinct categories – Men’s, Women’s and Legends’ (dedicated to players aged 35 and above) and will follow a league-cum-knockout format, promising intense matches and fierce competition.
Spread across four venues across the State – The Base in Seraulim, Kicks ‘N Flicks in Ribandar, Poriat ground in Calangute and Camp Souza in Camorlim – the tournament offers a diverse and inclusive platform for participants.
The grand finale will be held on February 18, marking the culmination of the league stages and knockouts. The winners will get Rs 50,000 and gift bags from FC Goa and Kingfisher, and a special felicitation at one of FC Goa’s upcoming home matches in the Indian Super League at Fatorda Stadium, while the runners-up will take home Rs 15,000 and gift bags from FC Goa and Kingfisher.
