TALEIGAO: Football Club of Neura registered a thrilling 3-2 win over Odxel Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Second Division League match played at Taleigao ground, on Wednesday.
The teams were tied 2-2 until the match winner, which came in the 88th minute scored by Prasad B for FC Neura.
Coming into the game, FC Neura started the match on an attacking note but had to wait until the 35th minute to take the lead as Preetesh M scored to make it 1-0.
Up by a goal, Neura soon doubled the lead in the 38th minute through Rolando Mascarenhas.
The winners led 2-0 at the breather. But Odxel SC began the second half with great determination and pulled a goal back in the 75th minute through Navin D.
The goal gave them hopes and after constant raids and pressing play, Odxel SC made it all square with just four minutes left on the clock through Sameer D.
However, Neura had more in offer as they came back strongly in the final minutes of the game and netted the match-winner in the 88th minute through Prasad to grab full points for his team.
