MAINA-CURTORIM: Firguem Bhat downed Combhatt 1-0 to move into the next round of the Maina inter-ward football tournament, at St Rita church ground, Maina, on Sunday.
In an evenly contested match, both teams dished out an attacking brand of football.
Floyd Barreto scored in the 18th minute for Firguem Bhat.
Combatt tried their best to level the score but Firguem Bhat’s strong line of defence kept the score unchanged till full time.
