PORVORIM: Bicholim Cricket Club registered a fluent five wicket victory over Union Sports Club, in the GCA A Division cricket league match, at GCA Academy ground, on Monday.
Batting first, Union SC were bundled out for 130 in 38 overs. Damodar Pokle top scored with 28 runs. He was well supported by Pandurang Gaonkar, who contributed 26 runs.
For Bicholim Cricket Club, Kashinath Chari and Amulya Pandrekar shared two wickets each.
In reply, Bicholim achieved the target by scoring 135 for 5 in 31.4. Alam Khan chipped in 22 runs while Malkesh Gandhi was the wrecker in chief scalping 4 for 36.
