RAIA: Fr Agnel Multipurpose HSS of Verna, Mount Litera Zee HSS of Zuarinagar and Navy HSS of Vasco move ahead in the U-19 Zone III inter HSS football tournament of DSYA and played at Ambelim football ground.
Fr Agnel Multipurpose HSS of Verna defeated Dr K B Hedgewar HSS of Ponda by 10-0 goals. Austin Fernandes scored a hat-trick, Joyson Fernandes scored a brace, while Joyston Fernandes, Sarvesh Palkar, Aaron Mascarenhas, Velito Silva and Leroy Colaco scored a goal each.
In the second match – Mount Litera Zee HSS defeated RMS HSS of Margao by solitary goal scored by Sahran Zahoor. In the third match – Navy HSS defeated Loyola HSS by 6-0 goals. Dhruv Phadte scored a hat-trick while Johan Bhonsle, Arman Yadav and Freddie Varghese netted a goal each.
