MAJORDA: Fr Agnel YC, Paroda defeated Our lady of Gloria Sports Club, Rachol by a 1-0 deficit and entered the quarter-finals of Fr Basilio memorial inter-village football tournament, at Musson ground, Majorda, on Wednesday.
There was no score in the first half despite both teams playing an attacking football.
The only goal of the game was scored by Raston Costa in the 55th minute of the game. Both the teams played all out for victory, with regular raids at the goals, but the only goal scored was enough for Paroda team to qualify for the quarter finals.
