RAIA: Fr Agnelo YSC, Paroda, thrashed Sporting Club of Davorlim 5-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the 1st All Goa Guardian Angel Festival Soccer inter-village football tournament played at Curchorem ground, on Monday.
Fr Agnelo netted a brace through Jaison Ferndes in the 10th and 15th minute. Nelson Oliveira, Regan Costa and Omkar Goankar scored a goal each for Fr Agnel in the 17th, 49th and 50th minutes respectively, while for SC Davorlim Ali Khan scored in the 57th minute.
SC Davorlim tried to reduce the margin but in vain. Jaison Fernandes received the man-of-the-match trophy from guest of honour Custodio Albuquerque.
