CAVELOSSIM: Veteran managing committee member Francis Rodrigues, with over 45 years of uninterrupted services to the club, was elected the president of Santa Cruz Club Cavelossim after defeating Dixon Vaz by 61 votes to 33, while Viriato Mendes ex-secretary was elected unopposed as the club chairman for the year 2019 to 2021 in the election held at the 72nd AGM of the club held at the club premises, recently.
Other members of the managing committee who were elected unopposed: vice-chairman- Hipolito Fernandes. Vice-president Viano Rodrigues, general secretary- Prince Pereira, asst. secretary- Ceaser Aguiar, treasurer- Solomon Mendes, asst treasurer- Caetano Caldeira, sports secretary-Severino Fernandes, asst sports secretary- Raju Cardozo and Peter Cardozo, Auditor- Sukash Bandodkar, Legal Advisor-Daryl Dias. Executives Members- Dionizio Dias, Raymond Rebello,Timotio Afonso, John Fernandes, Samir Bandodkar, Oswin Mendes.
