MANDOPA: Friends Circle, Dicarpale defeated Shadows Boys, Zoriwado 4-2 via-tie-breaker in the semi-final to move into the final of 1st All-Navelim football inter-ward tournament organized by Youth of Gantamorod Boys, at Mandopa ground, on Monday.
In both the sessions, teams failed to score.
Friends Circle’s Donald Rocha free kick was easily saved by Benson Baretto, goalkeeper of Shadow Boys in the 19th minute while Shadows Boys’ Paxton Gomes tried to dribble past the rival defence of Friends Circle but was thwarted by Milton Rocha.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Friends Circle netted through Milton Rocha, Wellington Rocha, Bernard Rocha and Alban Rocha while Joel Colaco and Agnelo Colaco were on target for Shadows Boys.
