PANJIM: Taleigao-based Gavin Araujo earned the AFC Pro Diploma in coaching, Thursday.
In all, 14 candidates have cleared the course, with the last module being held in Japan for 10 days.
The course was conducted by FIFA coach educator Kim Poulson. The five-module course started in May 2022 and concluded with the fifth module in June.
The successful candidates: Gavin Araujo, Renedy Singh; Ishfaq Ahmed, Vivek Nagul, Jeddy Almeida, Shakti Chauhan, Surinder Singh, Anthony Andrews, Mehrajuddin Wadoo, Richard Hood, Pradhyum Reddy, Noel Wilson, Venkatesh Shanmugam, Sanjoy Sen.
Gavin who started his coaching career in 2009, coached Vasco Club, Dempo and now is with F C Goa.
Gavin is also an AFC Fitness Coaching Certificate Level I coach, having obtained the qualification in October last.
