PANJIM: The Goa Basketball Association (GBA) have announced boys and girls youth basketball teams that will represent the State in the Youth Nationals to be held in Chandigarh from October 7 to 14
The players have to report to GBA Secretary Menino D’ Souza for completing the documentation on September 29, at Youth Hostel basketball court, Mira Mar, 4 p.m.
The teams are as follows. Girls: Gayle Gomes, Rose Rhea Rebello, Claudia Gomes, Franzila Rodrigues, Melany Gonsalves, Leandrie Rodrigues, Jesida Fernandes, Rachel Raposa, Charmaine Fernandes, Claudia Crizzle and Anoushka Morajkar.
Boys: Saichandra, Nayaab Sheikh, Elston Pinto, Ray Cortez, Roy Pereira, Levin Monterio, Daniel Vaz, M Doshi, George Lobo, Arash D’Costa, Nathan D’Sa and Kabir Morajkar.
Players registered with GBA and who could not participate in the youth championship may also attend the selection trials after intimating the GBA Secretary.
