GCA inspects stadium site
MAYEM: Goa Cricket Association President Dr Shekhar Salkar along with the members today inspected the proposed site of international cricket stadium, which is admeasuring approximately three lakh sqm, at Ona Maulingem village panchayat area, in Bicholim, on Thursday. “The foundation stone will be laid in May. The project will be completed by next two years in the area admeasuring one lakh sqm under public private partnership (PPP) model contract at the cost of Rs 400 crore, from which Rs 100 crore will be utilized for other allied facilities,” informed Dr Salkar post inspection.
