In the first match, Government College thrashed VM Salgaocar International Institute of Hospitality Education, Raia 11-0.
Macklon Colaco scored a brilliant hat-trick while Alton Vaz, Legiston Vaz, Avinash Gaonkar scored a brace each for Quepem College. Ashley Carvalho and Rinjoy Fernandes were the other goal scorers.
Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda defeated PES College, Farmagudi 4-1. While Joel Colaco netted a brace, Prestly Gomes and Walter Rebello netted a goal each for the winners. Mayuresh Gaude pulled one back for PES.
In the third match of the day, Fr Agnel College, Pilar defeated Goa Engineering College, Farmagudi 2-0. Ronil Azavedo scored both the goals for Fr Agnel, Pilar.
On Friday, Agnel Institute, Assagao, Padre Concecao College of Engineering, Verna and SS Dempo, Altinho also entered the quarter-finals.
In the first match, Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao defeated Government College, Borda 6-5 via tie-breaker.
Government College, Borda scored first two goals through Bipin Mallick (6th minute) and Tushar Chavan (36th Minutes). Agnel Institute levelled in the second half through Claudsen Goes (41st and 70th Minutes).
In the tie-breaker, Richal Fernandes, Glen Fernandes, Vrushabh Gaunco and Claudsen Goes scored for Agnel Institute while Klins Mendes, Bipin Mallick and Savio Noronha converted for Govt. College, Borda.
In the second match, Padre Concecao Colleg of Engineering, Verna defeated Don Bosco College, Panaji 4-2 via tie-breaker. There were no scores in the regulation time.
In the tie-breaker, Klusmer Pereira, Steven Fernandes, Aagesh Tari and Russell Vaz scored for PCCE, Verna while Ronald Dias and Olten Fernandes netted for Don Bosco.
In the third match, SS Dempo College, Altinho defeated Multi Faculty College, Dharbandora 7-0. Akeraj Martins scored a fine hat-trick while Projyot Mondal and Devendra Murgaonkar netted a brace each for Dempo College.
