Genevieve appointed as trainee: AIFF

PANJIM, MAY 4 Genevieve Colaco has been appointed as a trainee in All India Football Federation (AIFF), stated Alberto Colaco, general secretary on Tuesday.

Genevieve Colaco has been appointed as a trainee in All India Football Federation (AIFF), stated Alberto Colaco, general secretary on Tuesday.
Colaco does not specify if the post was advertised but the letter dated April 1, 2010 addressed to Genevieve says: “This has reference to your application and subsequent interview held for the above post, we are pleased to appoint you as trainee in AIFF at Dwarka office, New Delhi. You will be paid a stipend of Rs 8,000 per month. Your appointment is for a period of three months from March 2010.”
In case of Tathagata Mukherjee, Colaco stated that he was appointed as an intern with the AIFF and assist in marketing events and IT department with an allowance of Rs 8000 per month from June 3, 2009 after the Finance Committee had approved it for a period of 12 months. However, on August 28, 2009 the AIFF assigned him the new designation as Special Project Coordinator from September 2009 with the allowance remaining unchanged after the candidate’s request application on August 24 2009.
Colaco has given the dates of joining as an intern as June 3, 2009 and the designation change as Special Project Coordintaor as September 3, 2009 with the designation change to director-National team, Vision India, AID 27 as 1st April 2010 although no letter to this effect has been produced as part of the enclosures to Herald.
The AIFF does mot mention what post has been assigned to Genevieve and if the post was advertised or how many applications were sought for trainees and how many trainees were interviewed.
