PANJIM: Dempo were bundled out for 334 by Geno in their second innings in the Goa Premier League final held at Goa Cricket Academy, on Monday.
On day 2, Geno were bundled out for 165 in their first innings.Dempo opened their second innings with Aditya Suryavanshi and Akshat Reddy. Akshat was sent back to the pavilion for just 5 runs after he was bowled by Saurabh Bandekar. Aditya scored 40 before he was caught by Rahul Keni. Harshad Govekar went on to score 115 runs off 110 balls while Samarth Vyas managed to score 54 off 32 balls as both the batsmen fell to Chirag Khurana’s spell. The Geno bowlers put in a decent effort to restrict their opponents as Sangram Atitkar scalped 4 wickets while Chirag Khurana picked up 3 wickets.
At stumps, Sangram(34) and Prathamesh(27) were at the crease as Geno require 254 runs to win.
