PANJIM: The Goa Football Association has announced a 20-member squad for the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship West Zone Qualifying round to be played at Solapur from 7 to 12 February.
Goa are in Group A alongwith Madhya Pradesh, Daman and Diu and Lakshadeep. Goa will meet Daman and Diu on February 7, Lakshadeep on February 9 and Madhya Pradesh on February 11.
Following is the squad: Tyson Caiado, Melroy Fernandes, Kirtikesh Gadekar, Joseph Clement, Brian Faria, Jessel Carneiro, Peter Carvalho, Meldon D’Silva, Devendra Murgaonkar, Kapil Hoble, Velito D’Cruz, Glen Martins, Ronaldo Oliveira, Jaisan Vaz, Joaquim Abranches, Serineo Fernandes, Stendly Fernandes, Chaitan Komarpant, Lalwan Puia, Clive Colaco.
The above players have been requested to report at Athletic Stadium, Bambolim on February 2 at 7 a.m.
Meanwhile, Jose Santarita Coelho (Babush), GFA Executive Committee Member from Navelim, has been appointed as General Manager of the Goa State team.
