PANJIM: The Goa Football Association elections which are scheduled to be held at the end of July are likely to be postponed until further notice.
According to a source close to GFA said that in the executive committee meeting which went on till late Friday evening, it was decided to postpone the election to go for amendment of the constitution to bring it in line with the sports code in view of the AIFF directive after discussing at length the applicability of the National Sports code. However, efforts to contact GFA president Elvis Gomes proved unsuccessful.
