PANJIM: Goa football Association congratulated CRCC Chinchinim for the successful conduct of the women’s tournament which concluded recently. In a letter to Cyril Leitao President of CRCC , GFA President Elvis Gomes said that the effort of the club despite difficulties faced has helped the GFA in the promotion of women’s football in the state .
Meanwhile speaking to herald, Gomes said that he felt a great sense of achievement seeing women’s football getting support from Clubs.
“The League did a lot good. More tournaments should be held after the women’s league gets completed. GFA will organise one super cup after a longer League this coming season,” said Gomes.
