PANJIM: The Goa Football Association on Monday announced the provisional squad to attend the selection trials for the Senior National Championship for Santosh Trophy to be held in January 2017.
Altogether 68 players have been selected to attend the trials including 17 players who featured in the Indian Super League 2016.
FC Goa stars –Laxmikant Kattimani, Keenan, Sahil, Romeo, Mandar, Fulgaocaio and Prathesh have been named in the probable.
However, 18 U-20 players are also named to attend the trials that shall help the team to find the perfect mix for talent and experience. Among the 18 players named, eight of them are shortlisted for the strikers’ role.
