GFA to launch GBL leagues grassroots programme

PANJIM: The Goa Football Association (GFA) will launch the Golden Baby League (GBL) programme with a series of workshops for the clubs, schools, institutions, academies interested in adopting the AIFF-GFA programme with the first workshop on September 1 at Vasco for Mormugao Zone.
The GFA Baby League Committee Chairman, Francisco Nunes stated that the programme being hosted in collaboration with Salgaocar SC and FC Goa is aimed at all stakeholders who are engaged with children within the age group, be it clubs, academies, schools, NGOs, parents, coaches, football fans.

Only those willing to follow the specific regulations of the conduct of the programme will be given the GFA accreditation as the programme has to be carried on by the accredited league operators who will be responsible for scouting talent and ultimately contribute to the development of football.
Those interested in attending the 2-hour workshop, starting at 10.30 a.m., which will be conducted at Salgaocar FC Training Centre in Vasco should contact  Francisco Nunes or Jonathan D’Sousa, as only limited number of seats will be available.
