VERNA: Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar, inagurated the Nagoa Football Development centre at Nagoa under the aegis of the Goa Football Development Council, in Nagoa, on Tuesday.
Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar in his speech said that “Sports culture should be developed for the youngsters of today and they should have an option to make their career in sports.”
“The aim of this centre is to get the Nagoa club back to its glorious days”, said the President of the Pax of Nagoa football club.
Chairman of the GFDC Dr. Rufino, also spoke on the occasion.
MLA Nuvem constituency, Francisco Xavier Pacheco, was the guest of honour, Fr. Livio D’Mello, parish priest of Nagoa, Member Secretary of the GFDC Aleixo Da Costa, and Agnelo Fonseca a member of the GFDC were also present.
