PANJIM: The Goa Football Development Council in its pursuit of a uniform grassroots development programme in Goa, has roped in Karnagaran ‘Katz’ Naidoo, recommended by the South African Football Development Agency with whom the GFDC had commenced negotiation some months ago to steer its Technical Master Plan for Goa.

A person of Indian origin, Naidoo is a highly qualified coaches’ instructor, who quietly came to Goa at GFDC’s invitation, stayed in Goa for eight days last month and assessed the situation before agreeing to take up the challenge.

“All I can say is that he came, saw, spoke and we got conquered. His passion for training is overwhelming. GFDC is blessed with his involvement,” informed Member Secretary of GFDC Elvis Gomes speaking to Goalfest.

“GFDC has plans to implement a designed Technical Master Plan for the State under Naidoo, not restricted to GFDC alone but the whole of Goa,” said Gomes refusing to comment further on the subject.
