PANJIM: United Club of Utorda in association with Goa Football Development Council Alila Diwa Utorda Centre organized a football festival to celebrate the third anniversary of GFDC, at Utorda ground, recently.
Sports secretaries Francis Morais, Remedios Monteiro, Centre head Albino D’Costa, coaches Linette Vaz and Joaquim Fernandes conducted games for the trainees.
An exhibition match between GFDC and United Club of Utorda ended in a draw. A tie-breaker tournament was also conducted.
Other dignitaries present were Jhony Gomes, Anthony Rodrigues, Ana Pacheco, Rosa Maria, Emy Pereira, Elvis Mendez, Jaime Carvalho and Jose Paul Fernandes.
On the occasion, chief guest Joao Camilo D’Souza, a football lover, lauded the club for the good work.
Earlier, the president of the United Club of Utorda welcomed the gathering. Anthony Pereira compered while Secretary Anthony L C Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks.
