PONDA: GVM’ GGPR College of Commerce and Economics, Ponda, entered into a strategic partnership with the Karuna Football Foundation to foster the growth of physical education and sports among students and staff members in the state of Goa.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed during a ceremony held at the college campus. The agreement was endorsed by the Principal Dr Teotone Vaz of GVM’ GGPR College of Commerce and Economics and Milton Fernandes Trustee of Karuna Football Foundation’s Compassion FC in the presence of Dr. Meera Mayekar, Vice Principal of the College and Betty D’Silva, the College, Director of Physical Education.
The collaboration is aimed at enhancing the significance of physical education and sports, contributing to the holistic development of students and staff members. As part of the partnership’s initiation, wellness evaluation tests were conducted on several senior staff members of the college. This initiative will be extended to encompass all teaching and non-teaching staff members as well as students of the college in the near future.
