PANJIM: Glastian Piexoto was declared the Best Archer of the year during the Don Bosco Oratory’s Archery Competition for people of all ages, held in Panjim, recently.
It was a good success that brought about cheer among the kids as well as the parents. In the sub junior boys category Sai Muliyana bagged the first place whereas Shripad Desai and Ishani Desai bagged the first place in the junior boys and girls category respectively. In the U-12 boys category it was Abhir Sandip Bhonsule who secured the first place. Linford Pires was declared as the best archer of the month whereas a young star by name Glastian Piexoto was declared the Best Archer of the year.
Usha Narvekar bagged the first place in the senior womens category.
The prizes and medals were distributed by Victor Lobo and Albert Dourado who were the chief guests for the evening whereas senior instructor of Zito Archery Academy Zito Godinho proposed the vote of thanks.
