Football tournament at Aldona
PANJIM: (HSD) – The Aldona Block Congress (I) Committee will organise its annual inter-ward football tournament for 16 years and above boys from May 1, at Quitula ground, Aldona. The matches will be held on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Bastora XI and Carona XI will clash in the inaugural match, at 3.40 p.m.
8-a-side football at Merces
PANJIM: (HSD) – St Sebastiao Boys of Merces will organise their 6th All-Goa 8-a-side football tournament on May 2, at Alua ground, Merces. The winners and runners-up will be awarded Rs 6,000 and 4,000 respectively. For details contact Agnelo on 9822170038.
Soccer tourney at Navelim
PANJIM: (HSD) – Mandopa Sporting Club will organise an All-Goa inter-village football tournament from May 8, at Mandopa-Navelim. 4-a-side soccer at Assolna
PANJIM: (HSD) – Young Boys of Chanleavaddo, Ganneavaddo and Colmorod (CGC) are organising their 1st All-Goa 4-a-side football tournament on May 1 and 2, near Assolna Church ground, from 10 am. Gymnastic coaching camp
PANJIM: (HSD) – Kreeda Bharati, Goa and Goa Gymnastic Association will jointly conduct a coaching camp in gymnastic from May 6 to 16, at Vidhya Prabodhini High School, Porvorim. The camp will be conducted by Uma Bayaskar from Mumbai.
Those interested may register their names at Vidhya Prabodhini High School and Dr K B Hedgewar High School, Panjim.
