Exhibition football at Divar
PANJIM (HSD) — Piedade Youth Association will face Youth of Alto Panjim (Guimaraes) in an exhibition football match on the occasion of Our Lord Redeemer feast on Sunday, November 21 at Our Lady of Divar High School ground, Divar, at 4.30 pm. The match has been organised by the president of the feast.
Tug-of-war in Panjim
PANJIM (HSD) – The Tug-of-War Association of Goa will organise the 3rd all-Goa tug-of-war championship on December 5 outside new municipal market premises, Panjim at 2.30 p.m. The winners will pocket Rs. 10,000 plus the Putu Naik memorial rolling trophy while the runners-up will be awarded Rs. 7,000 and the third place winners will get Rs. 3,000. PANJIM (HSD) – Foot Fighters Club, Karai, Shiroda will organise their 2nd all-Goa one-day 5-a-side soccer tournament on November 21 and 28 near St Joseph church, Karai, Shiroda-Ponda at 10 a.m. The winners and runners-up will fetch Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively. 6-a-side hockey at Tivim
PANJIM (HSD) – The Goans Hockey will organise an all-Goa 6-a-side hockey tournament for boys and girls on November 28 at Tivim Panchayat ground. The tournament is open to clubs, schools, institutions and colleges. PANJIM (HSD) – Amigo’s and Rounak Club of Kumbhar Waddo, Mayem, Bicholim will organise their 9-a-side all-Goa football tournament on November 21 and 28 at Kumbhar Waddo ground, Mayem.
