Sesa FA convocation
PANJIM (HSD) — The fifth convocation ceremony of Sesa Football Academy, Sanquelim will be held on April 30, at SFA complex, Sanquelim, at 4.30 p.m. Alberto Colaco, general secretary, AIFF will be the chief guest while Armando Colaco, chief coach, Dempo Sports Club will be the guest of honour. P K Mukherjee, Managing Director, Sesa Goa will preside.
3-a-side tie-breaker at Calangute
CALANGUTE (HC) – The All-Goa 3-a-side tie-breaker soccer tournament organised by YGF will be held on May 2, at Agar Vaddo ground, Calangute, from 2.30 p.m. The winners and runners-up will receive Rs 4,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively. Taekwondo selection trials
PANJIM (HSD) – The Taekwondo Association of Goa will conduct selection trials for U-14 boys and girls on May 2, at Nehru multipurpose hall, Margao, at 10 a.m, to participate in the 2nd West Zone sub-junior, junior and senior championships to be held in Goa from May 28 to 30. Students with TFI identity cards, TAG annual membership card for the year 2010-2011 alongwith birth certificates are eligible. Players selected will undergo a 25-day coaching camp from May 3 to 30.
Kayaking at Dona Paula
PANJIM (HSD) — Goa Kayaking in association with Goa Tourism will conduct an introduction to kayaking and training programme for adults and children in the age group of 8 to 9 years, from May 7 to 10 and May 14 to 17, at Vainguinim beach, Dona Paula.
